The office for Midtown Detroit Inc. is conceived as a collaborate environment, in which community leaders, funders, and entrepreneurs come to build a better Detroit. Contemporary workstations are arranged in parallel rows at the center of an open floor plan. Intimate spaces for meetings and conversation 

are interspersed around the perimeter. Glass partitions and sliding doors, such as the conference room’s corner slider, provide needed privacy while maintaining spatial continuity and visual transparency.
